The VV 1940’s coat pattern is now available in six individual sizes.

Here’s what it looks like in tweed compared to my first make in cavalry twill.

A snap of yours truly taken while tromping across fields in Sussex last March.

  1. Your coat design is so amazing!!!. Thank you for sharing your gift to the world. Perfect for our Toronto Canadian weather. A women wearing this coat would make such a statement, especially if it is in a colour other than black. When I am on the subway I look around and everyone is in black. I may have to make this a beautiful red or like yours a tweed. Why not go for it.lol

  2. Love the detail and your exquisite workmanship, intimidating to those who make it! Thankfully, coats are really not needed here in Perth otherwise I would be trying my hand 🙂

  3. You are such a talented and beautiful lady! Thank you for sharing so much with us. I really enjoy browsing your site, and I just now realized how much I really, really need a pair of French Knickers!

If you enjoyed this post make my day & let me know!
